Maker's Mark – 46 Cask Strength Bill's Recipe Frenched Oak Limited Release

This is a limited release of Maker's Mark 46 at cask strength, a bourbon made to Bill's Recipe with a Frenched Oak finish. Bill Samuels Jr. wanted a Maker's Mark with stronger notes of vanilla, caramel and spice and a longer finish, without the bitterness his father disliked. After a long process of trial and error, he settled on leaving fully matured Maker's Mark in the barrel a little longer with specially chosen French oak staves. The release honours Bill Samuels Jr., son of the founders Bill and Margie.
