This is Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon in a custom commemorative bottle marking America's 250th anniversary. The glass is deep etched and hand-painted with a patriotic design. It is a custom project using Maker's Mark bourbon, not an official Maker's Mark release.
Inside is a wheated bourbon bottled at 45% ABV (90 proof) in a 75cl bottle, with the red wax seal the brand is known for.
The nose has vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, soft wheat and light baking spice. The palate is smooth caramel, honeyed grain, vanilla, oak and gentle spice. The finish is soft and warm, with lingering vanilla, wheat sweetness, oak and spice.
