This is Maker's Mark, a Kentucky straight bourbon whisky made in Loretto, Kentucky, in a 750ml bottle.
The mash is made from corn, rye and malted barley, and the whisky is aged in charred oak barrels. The bottle is recognisable by its square shape and red wax seal.
It is usually described as smooth and rich, with notes of caramel, vanilla and oak. It is often taken neat or over ice, and also used in cocktails.
