Maker's Mark is a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. Each bottle is hand-dipped and sealed in red wax.
Winter wheat goes into the mash in place of the more usual rye, which is said to make the bourbon smoother and less bitter than others.
It is sweet and balanced, with notes of caramel, vanilla and a fruity character.
