A limited-edition Kentucky bourbon from Maker's Mark, bottled at 54.8% in a 750ml bottle. BEP is the fifth and final bourbon in this chapter of the Wood Finishing Series.
It is made with Maker's 110 barrel entry proof, lower than usual, which is said to bring out balanced wood sugars, softer tannins and a lasting finish. Special finishing staves then add to the vanilla and sweet spice notes that come naturally from a low entry proof.
