Mars Red Turtle is a limited edition blend of grain and malt whisky produced at the Mars distilleries, released in April 2019. It was matured in the natural surroundings of the Shinshu distillery. American oak barrels gave it notes of incense, rich oak, light citrus and vanilla. Only 900 bottles were released, made specifically for the Japanese market.
