Mars Kasei White Blended Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Mars Kasei White is a blended whisky from Hombo Shuzo, made under its own Mars brand. It is the white-labelled version intended for Europe, with a carefully revised recipe that combines malt and grain whiskies. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle, chill-filtered and with no added colour. It does not meet every criterion of the industry term "Japanese Whisky". The nose has white blossom, soft ripe fruit and a fine touch of smoke. The palate is round and silky, with warm honey, green apple and white grape. The finish carries citrus and vanilla with light smoke.
