This is a Japanese single malt from Mars, released in Japan in 2021 as the Komagatake Asagi Madara Miyada Village Photo Competition bottling. It is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle, and the label shows a local butterfly, the Chestnut Tiger.
The whisky matured in ex-bourbon barrels and was then finished in aged Madeira casks, with ageing in the stone warehouse at Mars Tsunuki distillery in Kagoshima. This limited edition was produced as 1,550 bottles.
