Komagatake Limited Edition 2018 is a Japanese single malt from Mars, in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in a combination of bourbon and American white oak casks. Mars distils Komagatake at the Shinshu distillery in Miyada, Nagano Prefecture, which was built in 1985 and is the highest distillery in Japan.
Shinshu was mothballed in 1992 and reopened in 2011. Mars also opened a sister distillery, Tsunuki, to supply its blends.
