Mars Komagatake – Nature Of Shinshu Shinanotanpopo (70cl)

Mars Komagatake Shinanotanpopo is a Japanese single malt in a 70cl bottle. The name means dandelion. It is a vatting of whiskies aged for more than 20 years in ex-bourbon, white oak and ex-sherry casks. The distillery worked with a well-known Japanese artist, who illustrated the label with a dandelion flower. The nose is fruity and floral, with toasted wood and vanilla. The palate is fresh and fine, very persistent, with sweet notes from the sherry casks and a malty character. The finish is long and firm.
