Mars The Lucky Cat Double Individuals Choco & Luna is the twelfth release in a series of blended whiskies from Hombo Shuzo, each inspired by cats belonging to the company's president. This one is built around two cats: Choco, who seeks affection, and Luna, who prefers her own space. The blend of malt and grain whisky was made at Mars Komagatake Distillery in Nagano, with grain whisky from the UK and the USA. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle, and was released on 18 February 2026 for Japan's Cat Day, in an edition of around 10,000 bottles. The president describes it as a whisky where sweet aromas are tightened and balanced by a wild finish.
