Mars Maltage Komagatake 10 Years Old is a pure malt whisky from Shinshu Mars in Japan, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It is a discontinued bottling of the older "old dumpy" style.
The whisky was finished in wine casks, spending over a year in casks that previously held red wine from the Hosaka Hinokuni brand of the Mars Shinshu distillery.
The nose is calm, with a sherry character and soft notes of cherries and other red fruits.
