This is a blended Japanese whisky from Mars Shinshu, whose distillery stands in the Nagano Alps at Miyada Village. It is the Iwai Tradition blend, finished in casks made from sakura, the Japanese cherry tree.
The sakura wood adds a subtle floral character with a slightly tannic edge to the base whisky.
