Mars Whisky Malt Duo 2021 Komagatake x Chichibu (54%)

This is a blended malt Japanese whisky from Shinshu Mars Distillery, made in collaboration with Chichibu. In 2015 the two distilleries exchanged casks for the first time as a pioneering project. The casks then matured in the climates of both sites, from mild and warm to alpine, and were blended locally to make the Malt Duo 2021. The whisky was distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2021 at 54% ABV, with natural colour and without chill-filtering. It matured in oak casks, and 10,918 bottles were released in total.
