Kujira Ryukyu is a five-year-old single grain whisky from Masahiro, made in Okinawa, Japan, from 100% Indica rice. It was matured for over five years in first-fill white oak casks, in the subtropical climate at the southern end of Japan. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The aroma is woody, with dark fruit flavours on the palate. The body is smooth and mellow, and the finish brings sweet notes.
