Masahiro Pure Malt Whisky 12 Year Old Sherry

This is a 12-year-old pure malt whisky from Japan, sold under the Masahiro name. It was aged in a Sherry cask. Many of Japan's master distillers trained in Scotland, and some import Scottish heather for making peat, so there is a direct link with Scottish practice. Nutty and toasty notes run through both the aromas and the flavours.
