A 21 year old Irish blended whiskey from Master of Malt, part of its Saints & Sinnes & Rebels & Rouges range. It was matured in ex-Madeira casks, bottled in 2025 at 40% ABV, and comes in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers baked apple and poached pear with cinnamon, then honeycomb, toasted hazelnut, golden syrup, old wood and dried mango. The palate is velvety, with sultanas, orange peel, apricot jam, gingerbread and dark chocolate, the Madeira casks adding depth and a subtle sweetness around a malty core.
The finish is long, with red berries, old leather and sweet spice, ending dry.
