This is Match 5 Year Old, a blended malt Scotch whisky from Burn Brae Ltd, dating from the 1970s.
The nose is sweet, with honey, candied fruits, caramel, peaches in syrup and a menthol note like cough syrup. On the palate the tongue is coated in sweetness, with a sherbet fizz, salted caramel and peanut brittle, and peach and mango in the background.
The finish is of nearly medium length, with a coffee sweetness.
