Matt D'Arcy's Irish Whiskey (70cl, 40%)

Matt D'Arcy's is a blended Irish whiskey that marries four-year-old single malt with single grain whiskey. It is matured in bourbon casks and bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle, without added colour. The brand began in 1817 in Newry, County Down, and was revived in 2020 by Michael McKeown. Echlinville Distillery now handles its maturation, bottling and marketing. The nose combines vanilla and chocolate with a little fruit. On the palate, chocolate and coffee meet sweet vanilla custard and light fruit. The finish is medium in length, with a touch of spice.
