McClelland's Clanroy 8 Year Old De Luxe is a blended Scotch whisky with an eight-year age statement, bottled by T&A McClelland at 43% ABV.
It is a soft, easy-drinking blend with gentle peat smoke. The nose offers honey, dried grass and light cereal, with vanilla, apple skin and aged oak.
The palate is mellow and rounded, with toffee, light spice, heather, almond and a faint coastal salinity. The finish is of medium length, with sweet malt, smoke and a trace of herbal dryness, ending slightly nutty.
