McQueen and the Violet Fog Ultraviolet Hibiscus Berry Flavored Gin (40%)

A flavoured gin distilled in a single copper pot still in Jundiaí, Brazil, starting from the original McQueen & the Violet Fog gin with 21 botanicals including lemongrass, pomelo peel, jasmine, orris root, rose petal, coriander and rosemary. The Ultraviolet edition adds hibiscus flower, forest berry flavours and natural colourants such as carmine and vegetable juice, giving a rich violet hue that shifts to a pastel shade with tonic or citrus. The nose opens with fresh red berries, tropical fruit and floral jasmine; the palate brings lemon, tangerine, cranberry and blueberry over the original smoothness; the finish is smooth and lingering with a delicate balance of sweetness and refreshment.
