Mellow Corn is a Kentucky straight corn whiskey, bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is distilled from a mash of at least 80 percent corn, as the rules for straight corn whiskey require.
The spirit is aged for four years in a once-used Bourbon barrel. Without fresh charred oak, it stays lighter in colour, a straw shade rather than deep amber.
