Michel Couvreur Candid is a single malt whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 43% ABV. It was distilled in 2006 and matured in deeply humid caves, in 250 litre botas heavily impregnated with Pedro Ximenez. Four selected casks are blended together to give a regular taste. It is described as mellow, with roasted almond notes and a soft pungency. The nose is floral and intense. The palate is intense yet very mellow, with a soft, peaty touch of liquorice.
