Michel Couvreur Clearach Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Clearach is a single malt from Michel Couvreur, distilled in Scotland and matured for between two and three years in fresh sherry casks. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The colour is a very clear amber. The nose has almond and frangipane, a grassy freshness and a slight touch of honey. In the mouth it is lively, and the wine cask maturity brings a silky elegance despite the whisky's youth, with the intense character of a young spirit and the first vinous influences.
