Michter's 10 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon (70cl, 47.2%)

Michter's 10 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon is a Kentucky bourbon in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 47.2% ABV. Each bottle comes from one barrel that has been aged for a minimum of 10 years and hand-selected by the master distillers, with no blending. The spirit goes into the barrels at 103 proof, lower than the usual industry level, and the barrels are custom-charred. In the tasting notes, the nose has dark caramel, aged oak, roasted pecans and vanilla bean. The palate brings butterscotch, dried fruit, leather, cinnamon and sweet charred corn. The finish is long, with polished oak, dark spice and cocoa nibs.
