Michter's – 10 Year Old Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Rye (70cl, 46.4%)

This is Michter's 10 year old single barrel Kentucky straight rye, bottled at 46.4% in a 70cl bottle. It continues the legacy of rye, described as America's first whiskey variety, from Michter's, originally known as Shenk's. The 10 year old rye was absent from the market for nearly three years before Master Distiller Willie Pratt approved its re-release in April 2014. The notes are deep vanilla and toffee, toasted almonds and cinnamon, with a generous measure of crushed pepper and a hint of orange citrus.
