Michter's 20 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon from the 2021 limited release, bottled at 57% (114 proof) in a 750ml bottle. It is released only when Master Distiller Dan McKee and Director of Maturation Andrea Wilson judge the barrels ready.
The bourbon spent twenty years in new charred American oak in Kentucky.
The nose offers dark caramel, oak resin, vanilla, dried cherries, tobacco leaf and baking spice. On the palate come dark toffee, espresso, dried dark fruit, toasted oak and cinnamon. The finish is very long, with dried fruit, charred oak, bitter chocolate and warm spice.
