Michter's Toasted Barrel Finish Bourbon is a Kentucky straight bourbon that has been aged for an additional period in a second, custom-made barrel. That barrel is assembled from wood air-dried for 18 months, then toasted rather than charred.
It starts as Michter's US 1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon, and the move into the second barrel is the only thing done to it. The expression was first introduced in the autumn of 2014.
