Michter's – 25 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon 2020 Release (75cl)

This is a 25 year old Kentucky straight bourbon from Michter's, a single barrel release from 2020 in a 750ml bottle. It spent the full 25 years in new charred American oak. Michter's releases it only when its Master Distiller and Master of Maturation judge that exceptional barrels are ready. Each barrel is chosen individually, so that the spirit has taken what it can from the oak without turning astringent. The nose is rich with caramel, vanilla and oak, with dried fruit and warm spice. On the palate come toffee, dark chocolate, dried fruit and well-integrated oak tannins. The finish is long and smooth, with lingering spice and oak.
