Michter's – Bomberger's Declaration Bourbon 2024 Release (70cl, 54%)

Bomberger's Declaration is an annual Kentucky straight bourbon from Michter's, made in Louisville. It is named after a distillery that operated in the 1800s and later became Michter's in Pennsylvania. The 2024 release is matured in Chinquapin oak, a rarer wood that is air dried and seasoned for three years before a custom toast and char, with a portion of malted rye in the recipe. It is bottled at 108 proof (54%) under Master of Maturation Andrea Wilson. The nose brings dark fruit, nuts and maple. The palate is rich, moving from deep molasses and jammy fruit to chocolate and baking spice.
