Michter's Shenk's Homestead Sour Mash Whiskey 2024 Release (70cl)

Shenk's Homestead is a sour mash American whiskey from Michter's, made in Kentucky in small batches and issued as a limited release in 2024. It pays tribute to John Shenk, the 18th-century distiller whose work laid the groundwork for Michter's. The whiskey is aged in a mix of naturally air-dried oak and French oak barrels, including custom-toasted ones. The nose shows spiced toffee, dried fruit and soft oak. The palate has vanilla, cinnamon and toasted honey, with plum and fig, gentle pepper and warm baking spice.
