A 10 year old single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Michter's Distillery in Louisville, from the 2016 vintage. Each bottle is filled from one individual barrel. Michter's releases its 10 Year only when its Master Distiller and Master of Maturation judge that the available barrels are ready, so some years see no release.
The nose is caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and warm baking spice. The palate is full-bodied, with toffee, dried fruit, complex oak and a warm grain sweetness. The finish is long and warming, with caramel and spice fading into a clean close.
