Michter's – Single Barrel 10 Year Old Bourbon 2017 (75cl)

Michter's 10 Year Old Single Barrel is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Michter's in Louisville, from the 2017 vintage. Each bottle comes from a single barrel, in a 75cl bottle. The 10 Year is released only when the Master Distiller and Master of Maturation judge that the available barrels are ready, so some years bring no release. The 2017 is a selection of barrels approved in that year. It is rich amber in colour. The nose is deep caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and a warm grain sweetness. The palate is full-bodied, with toffee, baking spice, dried fruit and oak, and the finish is long and warming, with caramel, vanilla and spice.
