A ten-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon from Michter's of Louisville, the 2019 release, with each bottle filled from a single barrel. It comes in a 750ml bottle.
Michter's releases its 10 Year only when the Master Distiller and Master of Maturation judge that the available barrels are ready, so some years bring no release.
The colour is a rich amber. The nose offers caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and warm baking spice. The palate is full-bodied, with toffee, dried fruit, complex oak and a warm grain sweetness. The finish is long and warming, with caramel and spice fading cleanly.
