Michter's Small Batch American Whiskey is an American whiskey matured in barrels that previously held bourbon, rather than in the new oak that bourbon and rye require. It is the unblended US 1 style, and it never contains grain neutral spirits.
Master Distiller Willie Pratt agreed to re-release it in late 2013, after an absence of nearly three years. He judged it 'just right' and 'the best it's ever been'.
