Michter's Small Batch is an American bourbon bottled at 45.7% in a 75cl bottle. Its mash bill is built on carefully selected American corn, with rye showing underneath. In the glass it is amber. The nose is complex, with an overlay of camphor, alongside rich notes of barley and dried fruit. On the palate, sweetness gives way to corn and wood smoke, then spice, cinnamon and pepper. The finish is lingering, with wood notes mingling with maple syrup and a trace of pepper staying on.
