Michter's – US*1 American Whiskey

Michter's US*1 American Whiskey is an American whiskey from Michter's, a distillery whose history goes back to 1753. It is matured in casks of bourbon-soaked white oak. Michter's dries its wood in the open air rather than in a kiln, toasts it before charring, and fills its barrels at 51.5% ABV. On the palate it is described as showing oak, smoke, flowers and spice, with vanilla and stewed fruit also noted.
