Michter's – US*1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Small Batch (70cl, 45.7%)

Michter's US*1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Small Batch is a small batch bourbon at 45.7% vol, in a 70cl bottle. It is made by Michter's of Louisville, Kentucky, a house that traces its heritage back to 1753. The makers pay close attention to each step, including yeast selection, fermentation temperatures, the toasting or charring of the casks and the conditions in the rickhouse where the barrels mature. Tasting notes describe rich caramel with balanced vanilla, stone fruit and a smoky depth, with oak in the finish.
