Michter's US*1 Small Batch American Whiskey is a Kentucky whiskey made from corn, rye and malted barley and bottled at 41.7% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
It is distilled in small batches in copper pot stills and matured in new, fire-charred American oak barrels. Rather than being chill filtered, it is filtered at bottling strength.
The nose is butterscotch, vanilla bean and toasted oak, with dried fruit and gentle spice. The palate is smooth, with caramel, toffee, cinnamon and baking spices, light fruit and oak tannins. The finish is medium to long, with vanilla, oak and warming spice.
