Michter's – US*1 Small Batch Barrel Strength Sour Mash Whiskey (70cl, 55.8%)

This is the first barrel-strength version of Michter's US*1 Sour Mash, a Kentucky whiskey released in May 2026. It is bottled at 55.8% in a 70cl bottle. Its grain recipe is an undisclosed mix of corn, rye and malted barley that falls short of the 51% threshold for either bourbon or rye, so it is classed as a sour mash whiskey. It was distilled by Michter's classic sour mash method and matured in new charred white oak barrels. Each barrel is bottled at its natural strength.
