Michter's – US 1 Small Batch Original Sour Mash Whiskey (70cl)

Michter's US 1 Small Batch Original Sour Mash Whiskey is an American whiskey in a 70cl bottle. In the 1970s and 1980s it was the single most popular product of the Michter's distillery. The name refers to the sour mash method, in which some previously fermented mash starts the next fermentation, much like making sourdough bread. Its grain selection means it cannot be classed as either a rye or a bourbon. The whiskey disappeared from the market in 1989 and returned in 2012 as part of the US 1 line, keeping to the profile and palate of the original.
