Michter's US*1 Unblended American Whiskey is bottled at 41.7% in a 70cl bottle. It is not a bourbon or a rye: it is aged in barrels that previously held whiskey, rather than in new oak.
The whiskey never contains grain neutral spirit, which is the reason for the word unblended in its name. It returned to the market in late 2013, after an absence of nearly three years, when then Master Distiller Willie Pratt agreed to re-release it.
