Micil Inverin Small Batch Irish Whiskey (70cl, 46%)

Micil Inverin Small Batch is an Irish whiskey in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46%. It is a peated blend made from five parts and given a triple cask finish. It draws on the distilling heritage of Micil, pairing the fruit spice of Connemara fuisce with the peat smoke of the illicit stills and kilns of Inverin. The nose balances peat with charred wood smoke. On the palate come baked apples and pears, plenty of vanilla and honey sweetness and a pink peppercorn spice. The finish is long, with smoked bacon and clove.
