Milam & Greene Very Small Batch Straight Bourbon French Oak Finish (70cl, 54%)

A bourbon from Texas, blended from a Kentucky straight bourbon (70% corn, 22% malted rye, 8% malted barley) and a Tennessee bourbon (80% corn, 10% rye, 10% malted barley). After about four years of maturation in Texas, the blend is finished in French oak. It is bottled at 54% in a 70cl bottle. The nose is described as caramel, vanilla, roasted sweet nuts and fennel toast. On the palate come dark, sweet berries, black tea and freshly baked biscuits, leading to a long, warm finish with rounded wood notes.
