This is a 6 year old Dutch single malt from Millstone, the label Zuidam Distillers has used for its rye and single malt bottlings since 2007. It was distilled in 2018, matured in Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is cooked apples with cinnamon and nutmeg, sugared cereals, sultana and prune. The palate brings chocolatey malt, honeyed barley, sugary coffee, fresh orange and mint. The finish is toffee, raisin and more chocolate, with a hint of basil.
