Miyagikyo – Discovery Aromatic Yeast 2022 (70cl)

Miyagikyo Discovery Aromatic Yeast is a Japanese single malt made at Nikka's Miyagikyo distillery, in the 2022 edition. Aromatic yeasts are used in fermentation to encourage fruit flavours, and the whisky comes in a 70cl bottle. The fruit recalls pear, peach and apricot, noticeable on the nose and in the mouth, alongside less usual notes of lavender and marshmallow.
