Nikka Coffey Grain is a Japanese single grain whisky made mainly from corn at the Miyagikyo distillery. It is distilled in continuous Coffey stills, aged in oak casks and bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is ripe pear, cherry juice and exotic fruit, with vanilla and caramel. The palate is juicy and creamy, with ripe fruit, banana, liquorice, aniseed and light wood. The finish is medium in length, with pear, vanilla, soft spice and a floral hint.
