This is a 20 year old Speyside single malt from Mortlach, known as Cowie's Blue Seal. It was matured in ex-sherry casks and refill casks, and bottled at 43.4% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is citrus, berries and liquorice. On the palate it is oily, with citrus, oak, spices, berries and cocoa. The finish is medium in length, with notes of gingerbread, raisins and liquorice.
