Mossburn 12 Year Old Foursquare Rum Finish (57.7%)

Mossburn 12 Year Old is a Speyside malt whisky bottled at a batch strength of 57.7%. It is the first release in the Mossburn Cask Collaboration Series, made with Foursquare Distillery of St Philip, Barbados. The whisky spent 12 years in ex-bourbon casks and was then finished in American oak casks that had held aged Foursquare rum, hand-selected at the distillery. The nose has elegant rum notes alongside malty grain, with vanilla and banana beneath. The palate is full and complex, with malt, toffee, vanilla and apple balanced by rum and raisin. The finish is long, with raisins, vanilla and a sweet, complex spice.
