Mossburn Dupont 12 Year Old Blended Malt (70cl, 57.2%)

This is a 12 year old blended malt from Mossburn, built on Speyside malt whisky aged for more than 12 years and hand picked from 18 casks of different types. It then received a finish in Dupont Calvados casks. It is bottled at 57.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is the second release in the annual Cask Collaboration Series, made with the Dupont family, Calvados producers in Normandy's Pays d'Auge since 1887. The first was a Foursquare rum release. Expect honeyed floral notes, baked red apples and vanilla cream, with pink peppercorn and ginger from the Calvados, and a rich malty Speyside character.
